The Lusty Story

Built on a family tradition of manufacturing low loaders, the Lusty name is synonymous in an industry where quality, reliability and innovation is a key ingredient for success and longevity. The Lusty family have been at the forefront of low loader and trailer design and manufacture in Australia since 1986.

Colron Industries Pty Ltd is a wholly owned Australian company based in Brisbane, QLD, headed by John Lusty (Managing Director), and son Chris (Design Director). The company employs skilled and passionate people including engineers and mechanical designers, all with many years experience in the low loader manufacturing industry.

John has over 30 years design and manufacturing experience in the low loader industry starting out as a simple operation in with 20 employees based in Rocklea Queensland, John and the ‘Lusty’ brand of low loader has gone through various incarnations and joint ventures, including Lusty Allison, Lusty Pacific and Lusty Low Loaders.

Lusty by Colron Industries has given John and Chris full control over the company’s destiny and have instigated new designs, production techniques, and a product that competes with the best in the business.

Colron Industries Pty Ltd and Lusty Transport Equipment Solutions are the manufacturer of all new products sold by Colron Industries Pty Ltd. Colron Industries Pty Ltd and Lusty Transport Equipment Solutions does not supply products or have any affiliation, association or business relationship with any other business or company using the “Lusty” name.
